"The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

Christian Prayer Ministries exists to fulfil today the promise of Jesus in the gospel of Luke, through His Church, His Body, here on earth. As an organisation of committed Christians, who believe in a living, loving and all-powerful risen Saviour, we not only want to experience that same love in our own lives, but also help others to encounter Jesus and to know the wonderful release that comes from His touch in our lives.

As an organization we follow Jesus in preaching the Good News and proclaiming the freedom, healing, release and favour of the Lord

Christian Prayer Ministries is an organisation for any Christians who:

• desire to become more mature in their faith.
• want to have a deeper relationship with God
• would like to be more effective in their Christian life and ministry
• would like to be more aware of the insights of prayer ministry for healing and restoration.

Christian Prayer Ministries seeks to be a channel for the Holy Spirit to every part of a person for healing and wholeness based on the opening verses of Psalm 103:

Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being, praise His holy name.
Praise the Lord O my soul, and forget not all His benefits-who forgives all
your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires
with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

This deeply sensitive ministry touches areas of our lives that the Lord highlights. These are areas where there is wounding and pain, hang-ups, a struggle with sinful patterns and oppression. Many strive for years to get free of these things but fail to discern the root causes which hold them all in place.

This is not a ministry for those just wanting to feel better, but for those wanting to go on in the Lord and into the freedom He has already won for each of us on the Cross. It is a ministry where we see people being visibly changed by the power of our living, loving, forgiving and healing God.
