A nucleus of Prayer Ministers was already in existence when Christian
Prayer Ministries came into being in December 2001. Under the terms
of that organisation’s Constitution it successfully applied
to become a Region in 2005.
Geographically
The Region covers Warwickshire (with Coventry), Worcestershire and
Herefordshire. The Regional Committee is made up of eight members
from the Region, and meetings are held bi-monthly.
Prayer Ministry courses are run
at various local centres each year. Courses are normally held over two consecutive Saturdays at Malvern, Leamington Spa, Worcester and Coventry. Courses can be organised
at other venues by invitation. Introductory Days, Quiet Days and
Training Days are also held within the Region. Regular Prayer Support
evenings are held at Leamington and Bromyard.
For those members of Christian Prayer Ministries, within the Region,
who feel called to this Ministry, opportunities are available to
be used in the role of ‘Back-Up‘ within the Prayer Ministry
courses. This provides progressive experience in an ‘'apprenticeship'
style of learning and assessment. Full details of the Training Path
are included on the Web-Site.

elected every three years, are:-

Stephenson, Ken Stiff, Ruth Carter, David Simmons and Mike Higley. Shirley Chaffey was co-opted for one year in September 2011.
