The gift of life is God's love-gift to us at conception, and his purpose
was and is for our being wholesome and whole. He desires to
restore us towards wholeness by lovingly transforming those things
that have gone wrong. The yellow colouring represents the enfolding in God's love from the beginning even when things go wrong within. He does not throw us out when that happens, his commitment to love us is stronger than that. We come to his cross where the darkness is overcome. It is scattered as the light is restored and we find a welcome in him. WOUNDS are caused by the lack of loving behaviour towards us, or the spoiling of the love there is, and they need to be healed. The TIES are consequent attitudes in our mind which lead to the further spoiling of relationships, until we are freed from their hold. Spiritual darkness creeps in when EVIL influences take advantage of any openings, and has a grip on us until we are released. The WRONG done to us, and the reaction of WRONG by us, is dealt with when it is forgiven. That FORGIVENESS starts with Jesus at the cross. Any or all of this may have happened at any time in our lives, whether we remember it or not. Sometimes a pointer to their existence surfaces, then they can be dealt with. A build up of wounds/ties/evil influences may repeat as a pattern from wrongs throughout our lives until we deal with where it all started. |
